Weaver's Delight

You are invited to an open house Saturday, July 11, from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., featuring coffee and snacks, for all San Diego area weavers who are interested in free stuff.  Yes, free stuff, and it's wonderful stuff too.  Primarily, there is Verda Elliott's huge trove of books.  There are weaving books, craft books, art books, and just plain inspiration books, I would guess 500 of them!  In addition, there are extensive collections of the magazines Complex Weavers Journal, Handwoven, and Threads, as well as some weaving items, some pottery and basketry, and furniture.  All free.  There are also two sewing machines, a Viking Husqvarna 1+ embroidery/sewing machine, with all accessories, manual, and many associated embroidery design books; and a Singer serger.  These we will sell, but the prices will be reasonable.

We hope to see you Saturday!  Please contact Jan Elliott, Barb Elliott, or Deanna Johnson if you need directions to Verda's.

Now, here are pictures of a few things...

But wait, there's more!

Some of the other things that need re-homing include two nice tub chairs, six bentwood chairs, king headboard, dressers, lamps, pottery, folding bookshelves, dining set (table, 4 chairs, 2 stools), and area rugs.  And probably other stuff I've forgotten!

See you Saturday!

Three years of Juno

Just remembering her puppy days.
Reign (Dad) at the ranch in Warner Springs where Juno was born.
And later at Anna Guthrie's for training.

Getting to know Duncan and Daisy.
